Cristina Denise Recalde is a writer who nails your message and “gets” it every time.
Welcome to my small piece of real estate on the web: InkFroth.com.
Book me whenever you wish to jazz up your writing project and take it to new heights.
A Bit About Me
I'm a woman in her early forties who has plenty of pep and personality. I haunt museums like a ghost, ride my bicycle with a zestful taste for the wind, and am presently engaged with my furry dog companion in everyday life. (Happiness is a furry pet.) I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, USA.
I, today, relish activities that make me feel independent-spirited: yoga, green living, volunteering/activism and, lately, reading books about Western Civilization versus the East. I also do amateur hour at my local comedy club (stand-up comedy) and go swing dancing once a week.
Fun fact: I was an official volunteer for the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro!
I presently live in Buenos Aires, Argentina -- just one hour ahead of EST.
Full Disclosure:
I'm currently employed in the United States as a foreign contractor, which means I fill out a W-8BEN form with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) instead of a 1099 or W-9 form to stay legal. I have held this foreign contractor status for years.
The Fine Print:
I require a paid article writing trial, before settling on a final agreed upon rate per every blog post you commission. We enter the contract signing stage following the paid trial and your acceptance of my rate, which is subject to negotiation. You receive a discount of 25% off my rate for the paid trial article phase.
All blogging contracts are in effect for a minimum of two months. This is subject to negotiation.
I offer two free standard revisions of every piece I write.
I require a 50% upfront deposit on all projects commissioned for the first and second paid months of our work relationship. I accept direct bank deposit transfers via wire transfer, ACH transfer, Wise.com, or other.
I reserve the right to charge additional “rush fees” of at least 25% of total project cost for jobs with deadlines of 48 hours or less, and at least 50% for projects assigned on Friday and due on Monday.
If a job is killed for any reason after my writing service has ended, I’m entitled to full payment of the settled-upon fee.
If a job is killed during the writing stage, I’m entitled to full payment of all hours committed to the project up to that point.
Friendly attitude, dependability and a hardworking disposition are included for free!

Current Rates
I currently have the time to cater to an additional client or two or three, but no more. I charge between USD 20-an-hour and USD 76-an-hour with short-form written pieces taking between two and four hours to complete depending on the typically requested word count (up to 1,500 words). This includes research time.
Long-form blog posts spanning between 1,500 and 6,000 words are based on the following:
4-6 interviews with industry experts
Thorough research, images and SEO keyword-rich writing included.
These are written at a starting rate of USD 0.45 a word and can take up to a week and a half to write.
Finding Out the Specific Rate
Regarding short-form text, I'll be able to pinpoint a specific rate for you once I go through the real-world hoops of writing one trial article for your company, that is, the average article you would expect me to write for you. This step would allow me to measure the total effort of written voice crafting, the input amount of research time, and the editing needed to create a typical piece you'd be sweetly charmed about.
After reading this website, ordering a paid trial article is the next step in the process of finding out whether:
a) we'd be a good "fit" for each other, and
b) whether the final, specific contract rate per article I quote you -- after the trial article is done -- suits you fine.
My justification reason for my above range of rates is the following:
I stand by my excellent writing -- which, over time -- helps build a compelling, solid brand that instils pride. I base my current rate on the highly excellent 2018 Freelance Writers Survey prepared by ContentWonk.com. The survey identifies USD 74 as the minimum living wage where a freelance writer can "buy a house, take vacations, and retire."
